Day three… On this day, I’ve continued my car show coverage. But first, I have to salute one of my favorite vehicles at SEMA…
The Ford Company brought a Mustang Golf Cart.
So I arrived at Vossen Wheels’ booth, even though it was appointment only. The overall design does have it’s pros and cons. Pros: it’s unique and when next year rolls around, buyers will remember Vossen Wheels. Cons: it isolated Vossen Wheels from the rest of the show.
But I did make my way to 2Crave’s Booth, and before you say it. Media can come into the show an hour before the buyers, so these photos were taken before the show started. I don’t want you to think that no one is interested in 2Crave’s wheels, even though that is furthest from the truth.
From there, I went back to Asanti Wheels booth, and Asanti introduced a new wheel division called Adventus. Adventus is geared towards the import/performance vehicles. Although Asanti Wheels would look great on a Corvette, Corvettes can be considered a performance vehicle. After all, who buys a Corvette and doesn’t drive fast in it?
Asanti’s counterpart Lexani Wheels, brought a lovely Bentley Mulsanne and they did have their product line available as well.
Back at the Chevy Booth, Chevy introduced their Camaro Garage Concept. The Camaro Garage Concept combines Chevy’s Performance Parts with Chevy’s Accessories. That’s why the car is vertical so you can see the underbody.
A few steps down, Chevy also introduced the 2014 Copo Camaro. The Copo is the race car version of the Camaro. The price tag can run as high as $92,000 and only 69 will be made. This is the Chevy’s answer to the Ford Shelby.
The most exotic vehicle at SEMA was parked in the Go Pro booth, and had Go Pro cameras attached to it… a Pagani Huayra. Rumor has it, it gives off 720 horsepower and can go up to 230 mph. Ironically it just became legal in the US sometime last year.
This year, SEMA had another outdoor section on the other side of the shuttle bus stop. I enjoyed this area because it wasn’t nearly as crowded as everywhere else. This area was mostly filled with imports and pickup trucks. But the rules still applied- it better be completely customized.
This is the only car I saw at the entire SEMA show from Georgia. Yet there were more cars from Long Island, even though Long Island is further away from Vegas.
I had extremely mixed feelings about this Mercedes Benz S550 on Forgiato Wheels.
Okay. I’m wondering why BMW came out with the 6 series Gran Coupe. They should have left the 6 series as a two door, because the Gran Coupe looks like a refined version of the 5 series. At least the 6 series stood out.
New school vs Old school
I hate pickup trucks, but I adored this shade of blue.
And I adored this shade of blue on this Chevy Camaro
And I adored this shade of blue on this Mazda 6.
HG Motorsports brought this completely customized Mercedes Benz CLA250. Customizations include full wrapping, Brembo brakes, HRE Wheels with Toyo Tires, and more.
Dub Magazine had their own booth within their own outdoor show. The Dub Garage showed off their wheels, a Rolls Royce Phantom that was donated by RDB Motorsports of LA, and also their new joint venture with Meguiars Cleaning Products.
I used this as my outdoor mirror, but I highly doubt that Houston, Tx is the brightest spot of the nation.

And finally, I finished out the day in the Ford Racing area where they were showing the capabilities of the Ford Raptor. The Raptor was filled with guys and it was still able to fly in the air.
